I know this should be in another forum but I'm worried now and this forum gets a lot more traffic then the other ones so I am posting this here.
I brought a clown knife home on Saturday. The fish store told me they feed live black works but were all sold out and frozen blood worms should be just fine for the fish.
It's now Monday and the fish has yet to eat a single blood worm. Is it normal for a fish to take a few days to adjust to a new living environment and not eat as a result?

I have never seen my peacock eel eat in the 6 months Ive had him.Sometimes they wont eat in front of you.And yes it is normal for a new fish to take a while to eat.

Absolutely normal. It can take some time for a new fish to adjust to an unfamiliar enviroment. Three days is nothing for a fish to go without eating. Did the shop say when they would have new live food available? Does the fish have plenty of hiding spots? They can be shy and do not like bright lighting. What size tank and what are his tankmates?

It's a 72 gallon and he's in there by himself at the moment. I had a castle in the tank for him to hide in but there were small enough crevices in it for him to get stuck in so I removed it. He still has plenty of plants to hide behind.

Sounds nice, he would enjoy a peice of PVC pipe to hide in.

Clown knife fish will basically either eat anything you fee them (if you're lucky, not many are so willing) or refuse to look at anything but live food. I once had a group of 3 juvies (~3"), two would eat flakes, pellets, whatever, while the 3rd simply wasted away. I had one several years before those 3 that would only eat live goldfish, more trouble than it was worth IMO.
