Clown loaches have gotten lazy

What's up with these guys? They no longer eat snails or at least not very many of them? I've been tossing snails at them from my planted tanks only to end up with their tank full of snails, all fat and juicy and ready for dining......and being ignored.

I suppose if I fire them they'll want unemployment.

I bet if your didn't feed them for a while they would start to eat the snails.

Prolly but they are sharing a tank with others that get fed. They must be getting filled up on spinach, green beans, peas, romane lettuce and zucchini that I am feeding my silver dollars......along with fish food. They won't fatten up on that.

I think they probably sense that they're getting rehomed...and they don't have much of an appetite....Poor little guys!
