Ive got a electric question. I have all my tanks in my basement. Its-

20g- heater, light, filter
10g- 2 powerheads, light, heater, filter
20g- light, heater, filter
10g- heater, filter
2g- filter
20g- light, heater filter

satellite TV machine, tv, vcr, miniflidge, washer, dryer, and deep freeze plugged into my basement.
Is this overloading? how can i tell if im using electricity overload. On the 10g, i still need to plug in the 2 powerheads, filter, and light. If its overload, will a circuit breaker die out right away, or some other time? I cant run the risk of a breaker going out some other time because if im at work and the circuit breaker breaks, the fish will die.

Im sure chrona knows this one as i think it was him who wants to be a engineer.

Umm, you're circuit breaker might not trip right away if you are overloading, bc I doubt you have all that stuff running at the same time! (fridge motor, washer, dryer, tv, vcr, heaters) but maybe one day the perfect lineup will come along and trip the breaker. I would think it should be ok if no one is doing wash or watching tv while you're at work. And if that's the case, I'd assume they'd reset the breaker!

Im the only one who watches TV, but not that often, the fridge runs every few hours for about 10 minutes, i only do laundry every couple of weeks, the VCR is off but the satellite needs it for some reason.

Ive got an idea. What if i transfer my lamp. brichardi and auratus to one 10g, so thats one less heater and filter running?

Or, since the minifridge is empty, will i be able to plug in the filter, light, and powerheads if i unplug the minifridge?

If you think it's going to be an overload, then yes. Compare the wattage usage for the fridge against that of the equipment combined.

I unplugged the fridge. However, i found a creature in there. subway from WAY back. When i opened the wrapper, i puked. ABSOLUTELY nasty. I plugged in all my other stuff and its good. Now, theres nothing left to be plugged in, and no overloading.
