I'm thinking about adding some plants to my tank, what kind of plants should I get for a 10g tank with 5 tetras and a betta?

Room light. Sometimes a flashlight.

You need a light in the hood. You can put compact flourescent bulbs in a cheap ten gallon top and you are good to go. Besure the bulbs are 6400K or there abouts.

Spiral Crypt and Crypt lutea are my personal favorites as far as crypts go. chain swords are a neat addition.
