1) I have brown algae in two 10g tanks. In one, a fry tank, I also have too much uneaten food. Due to the small nature of the tanks, I have had snails recommended to me. Is this a good recommendation?

2) If so, which species?

3) One tank will always either host fry, sick fish, or be empty, but the other is currently holding Tiger Barbs that I am waiting to move back to my 29g. Long story. Afterward I'm planning a Dario Dario tank in that 10g. Are the recommended species from #2 compatible with these fish?

4) Finally, my LFS doesn't stock any. Where can I order from?

I would ask around if anyone has some nice MTS snails which will do the trick. If you don't want breeding, look around for a apple snail of some sorts, but my first choice would be the MTS.
