Can neon tetras, tiger barbs and dwarf gouramis go together in the same tank?
When I upgrade some of my tanks in the upcoming months I would like to consolidate some of my tanks together (into larger setups). I recently saw a photo of neons and barbs together but I've never heard of this before so I wasn't sure how common it was.

I don't see why not! Just make sure your school of TBs is large enough that they will not be chasing the other fish!
Tetras and Barbs would be okay, provided more barbs to tetras. As for the Gouramis no, I would not try it.

Agreed, I don't think the gouramis would do well with the barbs nipping at their feelers.

Tigerbarbs could work with the tetras provided that the tank is large enough to house a school of at least 8-10. If you have a larger group of them then you will see less agressive behaviour. So the more the better. Otherwise, I would not reccomend housing Tigerbarbs with those fish.
As far as the Gouramis...I would agree with mac and Oscar_Freak. Gouramis are not a good idea as they are a slow-moving fish.
