Cleaning empty tank

Hello all, I have a tank that I emptied and stored in my garage. I covered the whole tank with a bed sheet. How do I safely clean the inside to prep for future use ? Thanks.

You should be able to just wash it out with hot water but if you want to use a bit of bleach in the water, that would be fine, too. Rinse it a couple times if you use bleach or let it air dry.

Works for me great. Just make sure to use very little bleach and water it right down. I also find Vinegar works good to.

I use vinegar as well. Helps to remove some deposits as well.
