In my Discus tank i have

1 X 4 inch Turquoise Discus
1 x 3.5 inch Red Discus
2 x 5 inch Black Ghost
1 x 2.5 Tiger Oscar

(the tiger will be removed as he gets a little bigger)

But was curious anything i could add besides more Disus to brighten the tank

Oof, discus generally do not do well with any fish of the same size or larger (especially mean fish like oscars or ghosts). Juvenile discus are even harder, since they require very clean water and frequent (like 4-6x a day) feedings or they will have stunted growth. Also, discus tanks are generally like 82-86 degrees no?

That being said, the best companions for discus are small schooling fish, but the black ghosts kind of rule that out.

my black ghost never touched my neons. Theyre peaceful in my opinion and just hide all day.

My ghosts are to bothered chasing each other (not causing any damge) and the oscar swims away from the discus up until about 4 days ago he lived with guppies! he wont each anything but flake and frozen meals, but yes, i wont run that risk when hes older, and the ghosts never even take notice of the discus

Cardinal tetras. They are very colorful and perfect for discus tanks. What size tank is it? What filtration? What water change schedule? What pH? What temp?

LFS has a huge discus display tank and they have clown loaches and cardinal tetras (and a few other things I can't remember at the moment) in with the discus.

cardinals like reptileguy said are the best. That way you dont run the risk of a discus catching neon disease
