Our female angelfish is about to lay eggs and she seems feisty! We have an algae fish in the tank with them....in all we have 1 male and 1 female and 1 algae. Should we remove the algae fish?

do you have a spare tank? im not an expert and im sure someone here will come to the rescue but i would think you would move the female angel

Move the female before she lays eggs? Don't they need the male to fertilize? Thanks, I appreciate any help.

She is being territorial. If she lays both she and the male will gaurd thier spawn. Your algae eater could find itself in a heap of trouble.

We can't find the algae fish now? Surely they couldn't have taken him out that fast?

its probally hiding due to the fact that it was getting picked on, good luck on spotting it:)
