Hair like something on plants?

Hi There,

Just wanted to know what was growing on a few of my plants? It looks like hair or spider webs? Any idea what it is and why it started growing? It's mainly on one type of plant.

Seeing a photo it appears to be Thread Algae.... what do i do to stop this from spreading?

if its hair algae use your hands to remove it.
thats what i usually do. hope it helps....

Just some algae munchers. I think SAE's eat it. I need some of them myself.
