Just redid the 10 gallon betta home. getting ready to take the goldfish to the LFS. I'm working on hiding the crappy filter and HOB. I hope you like!

You did a great job on your tank!thumbs2:
I do suggest a black background to hide your filter.

If only I could see the fish now! lol. Huge algae bloom. Everything from 2 inches down is green. I assume too much nitrates and I just did a wc (first in 2 weeks). Also moved the goldfish to the 75 until I find time to take him to the LFS. I'm going to get more Oto's and put them in the 10 and let them do the dirty work.

In a way I'm sorta hoping the algae stays :14: , as I now alternate one huge river rock between the 10 & 75 when the rock in the 10 gets covered in algae. By the time the Oto's in the 75 clean the rock... there is a new one in the 10 covered in algae.

I like the natural look of your tank , and ur Betta is so beautiful , is it blue ? I am missing mine so much. To hide the filter u could use simply more plants in the background before it .
