Help Me and my betta out

So i got this really awesome looking betta yesterday orange and beautiful fins. Well i decided to put him in my community tank and know and behold my tiger barb went to town and ripped up his fins pretty extensivley. Anyway, will they grow back i have him in a 1 gallon for a Hosp. Tank. Eventually he will get a 5 gallon just got to talk them into it or could i put him in an angelfish tank when i get it set up. So do u think the fins will grow back oh yeah i have him on a 7 day dose of Melafix to keep fin rot away.

Keep the water clean and his fins will gro back. This is why they say never keep long fin fish with Tiger barbs. If I were you I would give him his own 5 gallon. He will be very happy by himself in his own little kingdom.

Like i said i plan too. Ha i was so angry with the fish but more at myself ha.
I am just glad he survived. He is very content in his little 1 gallon tho he is very colorful and is swimming everywhere.

Just dose him for 7 days maybe a bit more depending on how bad it is. Keep the water clean. And test every week and do smaller water changes just more frequent to not shock him. And he shall be back to his ole self soon enough.
