I'm trying to get my gold gouramis to breed and have the male and female together after 2 weeks apart. The male has built up a nice bubble nest under a plastic lid I floated in the aquarium. From the few times I observed, I didn't see the female near the nest for too long. My question is: how do you know when to remove the parents from the tank? I know they may eat the eggs but can you actually see the eggs in the nest? What do they look like? Is there are sure sign that they have bred and how long should I leave them in together? They've been in there about 24 hours now. Any advice is appreciated :ssmile:
