Nothing is 100% safe with large aggressive cichlids such as Oscars but I think your ok. You should however keep a close eye on them and remove the smaller oscar if it gets to badly beaten.

My guess is however that it will work out fine as long as the tank isn't to small.

when you add the oscar you should make sure their are hiding places just in case your big one turns into a bully

Well i ended up putting the oscars together, and when they're both next to each other, the little one looks ALOT smaller, Almost straight after putting the little oscar with the bigger one now they are inseparable where ever one goes the other will follow thanx for the help

Hard question but i wouldn't feel safe putting anything much smaller than your small oscar in there. Perhaps 4 inches. Put why do you want to get more?
Why not just live them and se i they spawn again and this time get fry.

the 8 inch oscar has just started to push the 5 inch oscar whenever he sees it. he opens his mouth and charges into the little oscar for no reason why is he doing this?
