can anyone telll me about how long it takes for the convicts to breed and hatch and how often

:hmm3grin2orange: Ive had convicts breed in the bag on the way home...so very very soon would be my estimate. Hatching takes approximately 2-3days....and they will free swim about 2 days later. At the time of free swimming the fry are ready to take finely crushed flakes, newly hatched brine shrimp or prepared fry foods. The parents usually rear the fry quite easily and sometimes will spawn again with young ones in the tank...and rear both clutches. Usually as long as there are small fry in with them they wont breed. Move the fry out at about 1/2"
