Got a new L239 a few days ago. Noticed one white spot on him the first day, but thought nothing of it. He now has quite a few and his gills look a little swollen (though that could be my imagination - seeing more things wrong with him!). He is in quarantine (as he is new). The LFS had him for 3 weeks and said he was eating, he is skinny, though. He showed some interest in food (but not 100% sure he has eaten as he is shy), and is still moving about. Can someone confirm it is ich (If I need better photos I will do my best to get some new ones)? Also - what would everyone recommend to treat a pleco with ich? (the white spots on his body - they shouldn't be there. They are very obvious).
I am quite worried about him!
Thanks!

Plecos are usually the last fish in the tank to show any signs of ick. That is not good. Was he skinny when you bought him? Cuz sunken eyes and/or belly is near-death for a pleco. Ick is easily treatable on plecos, but I'd be more worried about him getting enough food to fatten him up to where he should be. I can't tell much from the pics...
