Heres a real-time (sort of) game for horse lovers! I really like it. If you want to play but are confused on what to do, feel free to pm me and ask me about it!
You own a horse, take care of them, train them, breed them, and all sorts of other stuff!

That is pretty neat! I own, train, feed, breed, show, etc. miniature and full size horses 20+ times over. They're very rewarding animals [Only Registered Users Can See Links.]

I had horses when I was younger.
My brother gave my first.It was a quarter/arabian mix.He stood 14 1/2 hands.
He lived up to his name too. "Buck"!:hmm3grin2orange: I do miss riding an aweful lot.
I would love to have one up here.
Feeding a horse is a lot cheaper than feeding my 4x4.thumbs2:

My first horse was also an arab x qh :1luvu: I got him in 1994 and had to put him down (old age) a couple summers ago. He, Sky, was a dream come true for sure :1luvu:

At least he had a long life!
I would hate to be there for the end!

It was not easy. My favorite vet had been treating him for a sinus infection which we could not kick out of him. It was pretty elaborate what we tried to treat him, but it spread to his bone. My vet came out routinely and the last day, I was hoping he'd give me some guidance. I felt like Sky was saying it was time, and my vet took one look at Sky's face and he told me it was also. It was a huge burdeon off my shoulders that my vet (who I adore) confirmed what I thought and it helped me not have any second thoughts about if I had done right by Sky. Phew... It's been years but typing that just now made me cry.

I love horses as well, currently have a 3/4 TB 1/4 Percheron named Haden...hes a tank at 17.2hh and about 1600lbs. My first "horse" was a fat little black Shetland pony I named "Fatty", I got her for my 5th B-day. Even tho she hated me and I hated her we had good times:hmm3grin2orange:

I am hopeing to get a horse soon! Theres over 160 acres at my grandmothers pleace, you would think i'd be able to take a couple acres...

Anyways I really cant wait! I've loved horses all my life, never really riden one before, but I love them anyways! The only thing that worrys me is the cost, but it seems their not really as expensive as it seems...

You will love having a horse when you get one. Something that surprised me when I got my first horse (in my 20's) is that riding is A LOT harder than it looks! LOL!!! But it's fun and I remember when I was growing up, I wanted a horse soooooooooooooooooo bad, it felt like I could die of wanting one and not getting one. But all things in good time and I really appreciate my horses now that I have them.

I myself am not thrilled with horses, since I've done a lot of stable work, cleaning and feeding and brushing, and gotten my share of kicks (once broke 2 ribs) and minimal riding time out of it. I will admit, the kicks are prolly my fault, I'm always a bit nervous being behind horses, and they can sense that. I like them as animals, they are intelligent, and the nice ones are great. I myself would keep dogs rather than horses I love dogs, and horses are not usually cheap to have. They also need more land than I have at my home.

Anyway, the point is I'm gonna check this game out, keeping horses without the real effort sounds awesome, and I do love riding when I get the chance. Never muck out stables wearing skate shoes, invest in a nice pair of rubber boots lol, took me 4 pairs to learn that! and a couple sets of pedals on my old car hehe.

Oh as much as I love horses, I love dogs even more. And as for kicking, there's a 3 second rule here and if any of the horses even thinks of kicking me, I declare a momentary war on the horse and they get the point pretty fast (ie, don't mess with me -- I'm the boss mare here!). Big horses or small horses, we can't have the kicking (or biting) people.

Ya, the difference here being you obviously know and understand horses much better than me, and know what your doing :) I've been kicked bitten and stomped on, I still like them, just not as much as i did when I had no experience with them, and I swear they know that too. I really really think horses get it when you don't like them (I'm speaking of an individual stallion), or are nervous around them.

I love dogs a lot more myself too, even ones that have been aggressive towards me at first seem to calm down quickly, and get that I like them.

But all that said, I like all animals as long as they aren't actively trying to hunt/hurt/kill me. hehe

Still waiting till less than 5 people are on my wireless to check out that game.
