Guess it's been well established here that I hate pond snails and I've had hundreds. But this leads me to a couple questions. When I had my 20 and 29 gallon, I had snails all over the glass all the time. Now that my tanks are 55's, I never have a snail on the glass. Can anyone explain that one?

I am seeing a lot of dead snails in one of my tanks these days and not sure why. (Also don't care.) But I am curious as to why so many have died. I have no bottom feeders in this tank. Could I have starved them?

My new method of removing the wood and knocking the snails off is really working. My snail population is knocked down by about 90% by doing this for the last two weeks.

That sure does work!
Only hundreds eh! lol Not sure why they aren't on the glass but I find that happens mostly at night.

Yes lady, don't over feed and they will die out. Like you have seen before, a control population of snails is healthy for the tank.

I'm not trying to make the snails healthy. I'm trying to kill them off. LOLOLOL

Thanks guys.
