Actually for me this is a day I remember everyday. I grew up watching those buildings being built. I can remember going to the top and being awe struck by the view. I lost some old classmates that day who were in the tower. Having served in the US Navy I have some friends who have been over in Iraq serving on ships. I guess for me just as for men from WWII, this day will always stay fresh in my mind. Back in 2006 I took my wife and daughter to NY to visit family and friends and she was awe struck that she could see the Empire State Building from so far away. I was sad because there was something missing from the skyline.

Sorry for the ramble but the day is more than just the towers that fell. It is an insult to my nation and I thank God everyday for the men and women who are defending it. So to them if they are part of this forum I say to those who have served and do still serve:
