i thought my impulses when it came to fish were bad!!!! heres a story that prooves im not!
so the other night i drop my bf round to his mates house for a few drinks... im waiting paitently at home for the message to say he is ready to come home. approx 4 hours later he was ready so we (the kids and i) go to get him. i pull up in the drive and toot my horn, another text saying he has fish??? it takes him and his mate a good ten minutes to get to the car - carrying a container of fish. clearly a few too many drinks were to be had. we come home and put kids to bed (its rather late by this stage). he sits on the end of the lounge and opens the lid.... i see a breeding pair of green terrors, a green severum, a large male fire blue and about 6 manganos (spelling probably wrong). my mouth dropped. we were so not prepared for this and im trying to get some sense out of him..... have you ever tried talking to an intoxicated person? it was impossible, the more frustrated i was getting the funnier he thought it was. so after placing fish in several different tanks overnight i put him to bed. the next day was spent setting up the empty 4 ft for the terrors and the fire blue. the severum went in one of my community tanks aswell as the manganos. so now everyone is all settled and happy. the terrors are actually looking to spawn!!!
the best part about this story (besides new fishy friends), is that im going to have to get alot of fish or some really bad choices to ever top this!!! and the 3 bettas i got the day before without asking are nothing compared to his recent additions :hmm3grin2orange:
