My 3 glass cats have a tendency to hide in the corner... i want them to be a bit more active. is it just there nature??
Add, about 6 more. I had a tank that crashed because of unknown reasons that had about 12-15 glass cats in there, and they were out and about. 3 is to small of number.

They are a schooling fish and get rather unhappy with low numbers.

add 6 more to a 10g? should i wait for my 30g to be ready instead?

i dont know about glass cats but im sure everyone would like to know what else you have in the tank. ex what other fish

If you need to wait to get your 30g, then wait.
They will be shy until you get more of them however.
I also hear they are shy when the lights are too bright.
Sorry, I didn't notice they were in a 10. They get to big for a 10, even with three of them. When introduced to the 30, make sure there are floating plants, plants, logs, caves or anything they can hide in. Make sure they can get food in the 30, as in dropping pellets at night, and making sure they sink.

They like numbers and yes they are rather sedate, they spend most of there time staionary under cover watching the world go by. You do need a larger tank for them.

They are nocturnal fish and are often much more active after lights out!
Get a night light for the 30 so you can see them at night.

Right!! Ok To my 30 they are destined!! I will plan some more nooks for them.
i figured they would be alright for now in the 10 gal and so it seems they are. I will try and have some pics up after i get off work today.:hmm3grin2orange:
