And I didn't lose a single fish! thumbs2:

The fish weren't even stressed and all happily greeted me at the glass to be fed. I forgot to plug my Eheim back in after the water change on Friday so my tank did not have any filtration except for Amazon frogbit and a tiny sponge pre-filter on my AC20 power head. I attribute most of the filtration to the frogbit since that stuff grows like a weed and sucks everything out of the water.

When I turned the filter back on, it spewed out a bunch of debris so I am pretty sure I lost the bacteria in the filter but I will transfer over some seeded bio-balls from my other Eheim.

So note to others: always make sure you turn things back on!

I'll bet its going to be fine. You might have a small mini cycle but thats it.
I'll be interested in seeing what happens.

Keep an eye on the tank over the next few days. You might mini cycle, but sometimes off filters can produce toxins. Typically I rinse out my filters after they've been off for more than 48 hours. I'm probably a little over cautious though, odds are your fish will be fine.

My problem is unplugging things. Last week I left my heater in and did a 90% water change. It melted the plastic on the suction cup and I was just able to grab it by the cord before it hit the water and shattered.

I have all my electricals plugged into a surge protector. When I do any kind of maintence to my tank, I just turn off the protector, and wa-la. After doing my maintence, then I turn the surge protector back on and all is good. With me being in florida, the brown outs and black outs from the electric company can raise havoc in my tanks unless I have something to protect them. I was thinking of getting a battery back up, like the abs system so it will kick on when the power does go out. Mind you, it is only a temporary fix, and won't last long, but hopefully long enough for the power to be restored.
