Still to come is a black background, stand to be boxed in as a cabinate, and a hood.
And of cause fish.

Good point, in the lougeroom it is not green, just cloudy, only filled it a few hrs ago, the filter lines are green, so maybe a reaction to the flash?

Funny how fish seem to be so intelligent.
All the lights are turned out in my smaller tanks, (its night here), but the big one is still lit so I can admire it every time I walk past.
My Oscar named Leroy, is hovering at the front of his 10G, like he's checking it out, thinking. thats where I wanna be:thumb:, usually at lights out, he goes behind a log.

Awesome tank bro! What are the plans for fish in there?

1 Oscar
1 Red devil (I will keep a close eye, lives with the oscar now)
2 Silver sharks
4 Silver dollars
2 Clown loach
1 Suckermouth catfish

I asked about this combo in a previous thread and the only worry was the devil.

Stocking is really not an option for me, more a cure to an amature overcrowding in the beginning.

I have been a bad boy, and hope others who read this learn from my mistakes.

It's funny, I was so busy looking at the tank, I didn't notice you were in the picture until I read the responses, lol.

Wow I want one too! I really like the look you're giving that tank, cant wait til its finished!

BTW, how much filtration do you have for that tank? Is that the canister filter you had surging that you mentioned in the other thread?

Yep, its a 1500lph, I will let you convert that, the surging was solved in that thread.

Believe it or not, a mate built it for me at a real good price AU$200, and in the distant future, I suggested another the same, and a corner one with a 2ft front, so they come to an L shape (if you can picture what I do LOL,), well that is a fair way down the track, but he is open to the challenge, and likes the idea.

All this started 6 months ago, when I babysat my nephews fish, his convicts had fry in the time we was babysitting, I said as a payment I wanted some, he said it is adictive, I laughed and said, mate I won't pay more than $5 for a fish, YER RIGHT LMAO.:hmm3grin2orange::hmm3grin2orange::help:

I must say, it IS an addiction.

One thing I only let on to one other member on here, I was sat on my ass the day I picked it up, I found a 10mm crack in the corner of 1 end, my heart sank, I knew my mate would fix it though, he came up on Wednesday night and cut out the end and replaced it within the hr, I was amazed (he very sorry and embarressed), but alls well that ends well, and this bloke knew exactly what he was doing, when he told me it would be OK to fill tonight, I was a but reluctant, and filled it very slowly, checking all the time for leaks, LOL.

That is why I went quiet on the subject a day or so, I thought my dream had turned into a nightmare:hmm3grin2orange:

Yeah, with a custom made rimless 120g tank, you DEFINITELY want someone you can count on. 120 gallons of water damage is pretty spectacular ;)
