Hi all, my local aquarist shop only stocks hydor theo heaters and says they they are the best on the market.
Ive heard that visitherms are supposed to be the most reliable but are more expensive.. is it worth paying the extra few quid or are the hydors actually as good as he says???
:help:

You can get the visetherm stealth which in my opinion and many others on this site is the best for 20 bucks online.
It turns off when its out of water and everyone that I have keep the temp at a constant temp.
Get a stealth if you can. IDK anything about that other brand but if its better than the stealth then it has to be one dang good heater.

My two stealths havent failed me yet. Water is at a constant 77 degrees. Glad to hear you got a heater though.

Well i hope they release them over here soon...
Does any body know how reliable the stick on strip type thermometers are?
You know the ones with the changing coulours to determine temperature..
Only the heater is set at 26 degrees (79 F), yet the thermometer is reading a constant 27 bordering on 28 degrees(81-82 F)..
Its a second hand tank so i couldnt say how old it is..
