i have 6 platys and about 26 fry thats about 3 weeks old i have a 15 gal just filled up how many platys shall i put into it from the existing tank to cycle it

If you have a cycled tank just move a sponge over to the new tank. No cycle then.

My aqua one the existing cycled tank has an overtop filter with a carbon sponge whereas my jewel has a large in tank filter i have put 3 bio balls into it that came out of my aqua one what shall i do now

Squeeze all the gunk from the sponge into the new filter it will get it started quickly.
