Oddball the peppered cory still has a quirky habit the other cories don't want anything to do with;
He and Kiwi (gold gourami) now swim side by side every night around the tank a few times. Before Kiwi and Bubbles (dwarf) switched tanks he'd do the same with Bubbles. I guess he just likes gouramis. thumbs2:
However most of his other habits he's found company for. My largest female cory, the only other named one (Cherry, as she's about as big as one =]) has joined him in his odd-ballery.
They now rest under the decorations with each other - apart from everyone else, and she joins him when he goes up to clean off my plants - something the other cories look down their fins at.
Not to mention he still likes to 'sit' on her head for a moment before they eat. :lol: True love?
True love, or not, they don't seem particularly interested in the, uh, baby aspects of mating. They've seemed to be going through mating rituals several times (no one else has in the tank - except for those pesky danio kids up the gallons!) However as far as I can tell she's never so much as spread a single egg.
Ah well. Just thought I'd share in case there's even one person who remembers my original post stating the many oddities of Oddball. :ssmile:
