Transferring Snails

This is probably a dumb question, but hey, someones gotta be that guy. Is it possible to take snails out of my saltwater tank and put them in my fresh? I have no clue what kind they are, they are just coming outta the live rock and with the algae problem in my 10 gallon, a few snail probably wouldn't hurt.

Yea, if they are a SW snail they WILL NOT live in FW. lol

You could always send them to me....in my dwarf puffer tank they don't live long enough for the FW to kill them anyway!!!!
