Hi, i have a wall aquarium, the actual tank measures around 165-170 cm in length, and around 35-40 cm in height, the width of the tank is around 7-10cm

At the moment i have around 8 zebra danios, and 4 platies which are very happy.

Could anybody suggest anymore fish that may be ideal for this tank, including bottomfeeders to clear out algae.

Thanks,

Welcome to AC! :22:

For bottom feeders that eat algae, I would suggest oto cats (otocinclus). Otocinlcus are a somewhat difficult speceis to keep when first getting them, but after a month they become pretty hardy.

The other thing would be snails. Various types of nerites would be good, especially if you don't want them to breed like crazy :)

What is the width of your tank? it would help me and other better on how to offfer advce on stocking.

also, there are no plants just fake ones, there are 2 or 3 ornaments, and there is a big filter on the right side, which has small gaps underneath and on its sides

Is your tank really 7-10cm(4")? Thats just a really on footprint for a tank. I don't think much should be added since the tank would only be 4" wide.

If you could provide pics, that would be helpful

Other then that, I would only add fish that get 1.5" maybe 2" top to that tank. 8 Zebra Danios and 4 Platies is a good start. They stay small. I could reccommend a small bottom feeder such as pygmy cories, or maybe the otos. Six Pygmy Cories would be a good amount. Best to have at least six since schools are preferred, but not too many with that size tank. I'd say eight at the most. With otos, I'd say 5-6 is good, Make sure you have a constant algae supply, with veggies such as zucchini, romaine and lettuce supplemented into their diet. They may also accept algae wafers. Nerite Snails would be a better algae eater then otos for that set up IMO. Also, pygmy cries are not great algae eaters. They are just a good bottom feeder for that size of tank.

Good Luck with your set up! :22:

You'll need to make sure you get smaller fish. I would go with a bunch of livebearers. They are colorful, small, and would make a great "Live Photo" for the frame.

Welcome to the Fabulous AC!
With live bearers you will have to get only males. That tank would get over stocked very fast with females.
Those tanks are difficult to stock because they are so slim. I would be looking at tetras.

it says all the links are broken.

You should try using photobucket! ([Only Registered Users Can See Links.]) Just create an account on there (if you don't have one) and upload the pics there. Then get the IMG code and paste it her.
