Great looking tank! How big is it? Are those neons or cardinals?

Thank you guys! I am really loving this tank, it's a 25 gal with lighting and filter all in one, the current stocking is:

8 cardinals
3 zebras
3 tiger barbs
2 jewel cichlids (I may have to return one to the store because one took over the tank and the other one is just hidding in the back)

I am thinking on buying 2 more zebras and two more tigers, also 5 black neons and 5 luminiscent neons too, maybe 3 or 4 hatchets 3 corys and 3 kuhlii loaches but may be just too much

Also been thinking about more plants.

I will be posting more about it as i go adding and setting up things in my blog.

Also need to go buy the black back.

Might want to watch that Jewel. They can get aggressive fast. In fact you might be better off trading it in for maybe something like a gourami or something like that. Otherwise, awesome tank! :19:

Very nice looking, great driftwood!

Please do take both jewels back, they're highly aggressive, even for cichlids, and need a very large tank.

If I were you, finish out your schools and that's way plenty of fish for a 25g. Your bioload is going to be pretty high.

Slow down there buddy, this is a 25g not a lake.

Yup, both things taken cared off, ill take back the jewels tomorow since i didnt even buy them knowing anything about them, after research decided to take them off, also not adding more zebras, tigers or anything else untill making sure my filter is handling it all right.

That sounds like a great plan Sid! It's always best to research fish before you buy them as some of those little cute babies you see in the store can grow up to be real monsters. Good for you.

Bad news the store doesn't want them back and i can't afford another tank just for them for now, this can get messy.

Altho as a side note the big one seems less agressive today, the cardinals still keep their distance but the zebras and tigers don't care about him and pass right in it's nose, saw him "warn" one tiger once but he really got too close, we will see how this things develops while I find a solution to the jewels.
