First, credit is due to ErikfromNJ for the ideas to build this project.
So here is the 125 stand and canopy I built recently. The sides and back are 3/4 oak plywood, front frame is 1x3 oak. Doors are 1/2 oak plw with oak trim applied around the perimeter. The top and interior floor are 3/4 pine plywood. The canopy is also 3/4 oak ply top and 1x8 oak front and sides. Everything is pocket screwed(that Kregs kit is AWESOME) and glued. It is finished with 2 coats of Watco Danish Oil and 2 coats of oil based polyurethane. The slideout in the center is mounted on 2 100lb slides from Lowes.

It sure pays to have a cabinet maker as a bud!thumbs2:

Aaaaand more....

Sorry, forgot to say that the lighting is 2 twin 3' T5 flourescents from HD. I've since changed the bulbs from the standard 3500k to a 10,000k and actinic in each fixture.

Aaaaand.... Oh you get the picture:hmm3grin2orange:

Last details... Filtration is from an FX5 and an AC110. A Koralia 3 PH moves some water too. Twin 250w Stealths heat it up. A coralife digital thermometer tells me how much.

Thanks King! Now that I know I can put something like this together, I'll have to think of other projects I can do in my spare time(when I find it!).
