A quick reference or glossary area to refer to for common terms such as "cycling" could be useful. I know as a newbie, I hear this particular word a lot, and I did not fully comprehend it's meaning until I did a bit of reading.
Many people jump into the fishkeeping thing without doing much research... shocking I know, but I will admit that I did this very thing. I was lucky not to lose any fish.

With glossary of some sort, a newbie might better understand the question "Was your tank cycled?" or "What are your parameters?"...like I said, just a thought

I think there should be a sticky somewhere on how the cycle works. I am constantly referring people to

It would be great if some got the information together and posted it.
