So... after moving my 30 tank up from the basement, i started to make improvements to it little by little. New light fixture, flourite substrate, added 3 amazon swords and a little hard-scaping. So... i have a jurupari, and angel, a ram, a small algae eater, 6 julli corys, 6 rummy nose, and 2 blue gouramis. The corys are new (pretty small) because the one juli i had was all by himself lol. I plan on ordering some dwarf hairgrass from aquariumplants.com (any comments about the site?) and im sure the jurupari will end up ripping that up, he also has hole-in-the-head, so if anyones going to go, its going to be him. Which is a shame because hes so beautiful, but hes very territorial and the tank is just too small for a fish like that.
So what do you think????
Btw, i didn't think that i was over stocked too much because i plan on adding a lot more plants. don't know if that makes a diff or not.

You don't seem too overly stocked to me....but I am more carefree type individual....wait for the experts, take their advice for what its worth, but play it by ear. If your parameters are staying good each week between water changes and if there is minimal aggression, you're probably fine. Happy fish usually tells it all :)
To me it is over stocked a bit. Due to the size some of the fish will get.
IMO I would move the gouramis out, and as for the jurupari, that will need a much bigger tank. 50 gallons + IMO. As for your plants I would not give them much hope. These fish love up rooting them.

yes, you are overstocked. the jurapari needs to go asap. between the angel, gouramis one of these should go as well.

I would remove the jurapi and at least one of the gouramis. The plants will be fine once the jurapi is removed. Cories can make planting a ground cover annoying but once established they will not bother it.

Zero. A 70 liter tank is not large enough for even a single angel.

yeah 70 l is way to small for any angelfish. And i would also comply that the jurapari should go asap and as for angelfish i would say one and as for gouramis maybe 2 smaller ones

pull the jurapi and at least 1 of the gouramis. As they age the gouramis will get territorial with the top of the water and may turn on each other, the angel, or the whole tank. The thing that is hard to call about gourami and angels is that they can be very "personality rich" fish and you can't really tell what the heck they are gonna do as they age. My 2 gourami(in separate tanks) are about 4" long and prob done growing. They get to be a fairly large, strong fish. Mine have tremendous tude, and i think that an angel(even a tough one) wouldn't stand a chance.

How many of each type of platys and guppies and neons do you have in your tank.
