I am wanting to hold my current stocking for a while, adding only a few neons here and there. I just cant make up my mind on clean up crew and centerpiece fish. I was thinking a few BN's next, and have been looking at cherry shrimp recently. I am leaning towards a pair of dwarf cichlids, maybe triple red cacatoides(not sure on that spelling).

Would the shrimp have a chance?

Are they difficult to keep?

Does anyone know of any dwarf cichild breeders in NW Ohio area?

If you are talking about the tank in your Sig, you have more them enough room ot expand. I would add 20 or so more Neons.

Bns are nice Plecos, but a large school of Corydoras would do a beter job of keeping the bottom clean if thats what you are looking for.

Thanks for the quick response, and yes the tank in my sig is what I'm talking about. Yes I am looking for good cleanup crew so I will look into the corys. Also looking for suggestions on when to add....do I get fish first then add cleaners?

Cleaners=fish anyways so just add ~6 fish a week, keeping an eye on the parameters between each addition.

Algenco might know where you can get some GBRs and BNs.
All the center peice fish I can think of are too big for your smaller fish.lol
A gourami or parrot fish maybe.

I have had large fish in the past and would prefer to keep it smaller so I don't have to clean so often. So at least for now I plan on keeping with the smaller schooling fish. I think I am really leaning towards the triple reds, but not finding anything close to Ohio that sells them. Thanks again for the help guys.
