I've been lurking here for about a week or so now and have been reading so much. Everyone seems to be so nice so I thought I would stick around and say hi to all. Right now I have a 125 gal. with Vern the RES in it. A 60 gal. hex with two angels, a pleco, and some kind of yellow fish. (I've had him for years and for the life of me can't remember what he or she is.) I also have a 10 gal. with a betta, two apple snails and two ADF's and a 2 1/2 gal. with a betta, a ADF and a small pleco. I"m looking for a 100 gal. now so I can get rid of the hex.
I'm sure I will have lots of questions as time go on.....

Linda

Red Eared Slider?

Yep...seen him in a pet shop and he had shell rot and a ear infection so I had to buy him. After many trips to a vet and spending a small fortune on him I am happy to say he is doing well and very spoiled...:19:

The tank is full as full can be. With the 125 gal there is three glass sections to the lid so the middle one has his little spot that he can go up a ramp into a tub (going to change that soon) that has his heat lamp and sun lamp on top. Doesn't look very good right now but it does the job till I can get the plexi around to build him a better place to bask.

Thats cool, you could probobly get away with putting acouple goldfish in there to supplement his hunger.

I was told that goldfish are too fatty for the turtles. Although I just can't force myself to feed anything live food. If I knew how to put pictures on here I would post a couple of him. I do understand that this is a fish forum but Vern swims too.....:hmm3grin2orange:
