I have a 36 gallon tank, planted. The current stock is 2 cories. Do you think I could add more fish?

Any ideas for fun fish? I am not coming up with anything myself right now.

what dimensions is it ? No good at gallons lol, maybe a siamese male. or some neons, or platys or guppys. I like the long fined white minows cant find any in my lfs, and dont have a tank for them
My mum also ahs some long fined bristle noses and they are nice

All good ideas.
It is a 36 gallon bow front, 130 watts of CF lighting, densely planted. The filter is a XP2. It is 30 X 18 X (12 to 18) in the center.

Personally I would get a pair of Festivums....very under-rated american cichlid. Extremely graceful fish that given the right tank will really become quite the show piece. I would get a good floating plant for the tank to give the fish some shady spots, and unlike alot of american cichlids out there Festivums are perfectly suited to the planted aquarium. I would then get your cory numbers up to a nice 5-6....and for a complementary shoal 8 marbeled hatchets would make for a lovely addition. Your corydoras will inhabit the bottom, festivum pair in the center and the hatchets will be at the top of the tank.

That is a great idea. I always wanted to try Festivums, no hatchets though I have to many openings on my tank.
I have a nice dense cover of duckweed, kind of like my own turtle food farm.

If not hatchets then how about some Penguin tetras...another sort of forgotten aquarium fish, which if kept in the right conditions really do have a certain attractiveness to them. Diamond tetras may also be another good canditate :11:
