Hey guys,

Well time for a up date.

So were to start. Hmm!!

Yesterday I went into my work, [LPS] to get a filter. Well on the way, on our road, there is a part blind corner which is a T intersection with the strait part a 100 km/ph bend with a give way sign on it. And this type of road you have to really look left and right. So I was coming down the road, at 150k and had slowed down to 90k like always on the bend, and I was 200m from the bend a small MPV [10 seater] drove right out in front of me. So I hit the brakes. Then let go of the breaks hit the hand brake and drifted. And ended up going parallel to the van.

Man if it was not for the fact I had slowed down to 90 and not 100, and had drifted I would have hat the Hiace, right in the middle side on. Either killing or really hurting a bus full of school girls.

What $%$#ed me of was that the driver [And it was a woman] did not even know what had happened. Nor did she get why the girls were screaming, or me giving her the fish and middle. With a lot of horn honking.

And today I had something similar happen. Some one would not let me merge into a lane. And in NZ if you are in a 2 lane section of road, and it is turning into just a 1 lane north south type road [What I mean is left and right hand lane, single lane each side.] and you are in the left lane, the right has to let you in. Well the woman would not let me in. And got mad when I made her let me in, after pushing her into the suicide lane, and giving the finger. Next thing she went ballistic. So just pulled over let the person past, and chased her around town. :22: Yup chased her all over till she gave up and drove to the cop shop. And yup I chased her there and parked. What she did not know was well hahahahaha, I was on the phone ringing and directing a cop. She got a ticket for dangerous driving. So boy what a week.

And that is not the only batch of problems.

With that aside, the pet shop job is great. I love it so much.

This week not one dead fish. All has started coming right. The boss got a Filter placed on the tap so I can fill the tanks with out chemicals going into the tanks. Which is one thing that was causing deaths. Other than that I have been cleaning and sorting the whole fish section out.

With that aside all I do is fish, and help out and serve customers.

A real easy job. And the pay is not to bad. Strait on to $13.00 a hour.

Other than that, my other job, is getting better. My complaint has gone through and the manager has stopped picking on me. So that is a bonus.

Other wise all is going sweet. Looking at getting some Discus very soon. A breeding pair. Something that I have always wanted to do.

Also I have managed to find a female BN. Which I am breeding now.

Anyway way better go. Got a ton to do.

Well it is the first time for a long time that things have got a bit pear shaped on the roads, in long time.

And I know it not nice it has always been woman, or government safety vans which have nearly given disaster.

But I try my best to drive safly, and keep eyes open. But I can't be eyes for others.

You were driving at 150km/h in a 100km/h zone and you say "I try my best to drive safely"?

In case you didn't realise, that speed you were driving is a criminal offense in NZ and is a statutory immediate confiscation of license, heavy fines (up to $630 instant fine for travelling more than 40km/h over the limit. Up to $1000 if found guilty in court), demerit points AND most likely a reckless/dangerous driving charge.

For those of you overseas and mac, here are the fixed penalties for driving at 150km/h in a 100km/h zone:

28 Day Suspension of License
Instant Fine of up to $630 for traveling between 46 and 50 km/h (If going 51km/h or over you are arrested on the spot. You could get arrested for doing slightly less)
50 demerit points (If you accumulate 100 demerit points in a two year period you are suspended from driving for 3 months)

You are lucky you haven't been killed. I find it quite atrocious that you had the gall to get another driver a ticket for dangerous driving while at the same time you were driving at very very high speeds.................

Not only were you a danger to yourself, but to other road users as well - regardless of whether or not you were in a rural, urban or city area.

Right okay then. May be I should have stated the road is our drive way. Yup it is our drive. And not on public access. Hence way I had to slow down, because our drive hit a side road which is a give way, which is a 100Km/hr.
Then 1km down is the corner.

Also there is no rules as to what speed I can or can't drive on in our drive way. Point that out in the road code? Or any were if you please!

Now yes this is my fault. I was tired the day I wrote the post.
But it is our drive way which is 7 KMs long, And I always drive at that speed on it, because it is a bitcher-men drive. Plus it is fully open, so I can see if anything is around me in a full 360' radius.

Now if you would like to look at my driving, and pick it to peaces, well be my guest.

I have been trained to drive by a cop. The whole learning stage of driving.
And not only on the road, but on the farm and race track.

Once I was on my restricted I have been driving around a lot with a cop.
And every time he keeps saying how good I am.

Not only that driving instructors, and everyone who was and has been with me while driving.

Not once have I ever been given one single warning or ticket. Nothing. Clean record. Cops have given me a pat on the back.

And if I want to be a idiot in town, my families reputation is shot. Because we are fully known. And every one knows what I drive.

So even if I was going to be a dumb wit, it would not work.

When I am driving on public roads I do drive to the conditions. The only time I get over 100 is when I over take, and 110 is about all I need.

As for around town, that is a different story. I drive eyes right open watching every one, and everything. At the right speeds

When I want to drive silly, I do it on the farm, or race track, or on our drive way. Not on the public road.

So I apologize for not being more clear in my first post, that the road, was part of our drive, which in all cases is prohibited to be driven on by any one but us. Any one who comes onto this property will be arrest for tress passing.
And it has happened to a few people already.

I for one know what all the road rules are. And I abide by them, when not on the road I live on. In town on the high way or any other road bare for the one I am on I do what the rules say, if they can be done.

Which any half sane person knows at times one or two rules can't always be
abided by depending on the situation.

Now I know you will say that is to fast to drive on your own drive.
One of the farms my folks owned in Ozzie was 1,000,000 acres.

And being in the Northern territory there are no speed limits any were, bare for in the towns.

So I am very use to driving at speed no matter what.

After re reading my first post, I can see how you could get confused.
