I'm doing a major cleaning on my 20 today, and as I was vacuuming the gravel, I noticed I was one black molly short. I checked inside all of the landforms that I removed, and checked the plant leaves as well... No molly. Checked the filter tube, behind the heater tube, and under the piles of disturbed gravel. No molly... Looked inside the filter, around the stand, under the bed, tables, and towels that I had laid down on the floor. No molly...
All three were present in the tank last night at feeding time, and I didn't bother to do a headcount this morning when I fed them. There were no fishy remains floating around the tank, and I have never seen my small Kissing Guarmi bother any of the other fish since they were added several months ago.
Could this be a David Blane fish? Maybe a saint fish who sacrificed himself to save the other fish from painful damnation. (Provided they follow his divine fishy will). Or maybe just a flying-fish suicide that flew past my search radius, possibly soaring to the opposite end of the room?
Either way....
