Picked up a male and two females of these guys.

They are from the same area of the lake as my nubila ( black male red fins ) Crispy

They are also known as Astatotilapia aeneocolor

Or yellow belly alberts.

Those pics were taken the same night I got them.

Here are some ne pics I just took.

The males do get a lot more yellow with a bit of red & orange and very striking breeding colours.

very nice pics. i have a pair of Astatitilapia latifasciata, they are really colourful aswell just with more red and dark striping. they breed fairly regularly with a huge amount of fry considering they are all held in the mouth of the female. but ive found the fry are very sensitive to waterchanges. out of the broods ive had ive only managed to have one surviving. but now i have the breeding tank set up hopefully ill have more luck. congrats on the pick up. and keep us informed on their progress thumbs2: thumbs2:

I also have a male and 3 female astatotilapia nubila and they have bred loads of fry for me.
