need some advice!

Hay all I have a 4 foot tank with only 2 power heads for filltration. I'm wanting to know what's better. A canster filter or I was told to set up a sump. What's the diference between , and what's better? My water has a yellow kind of tint to it. Think its from the wood but I can't get rid of it. Any help would be great . Thanks

A cannister would be fine. No need for a sump. How many gallons is the tank? What is your stocking?

The yellow color will go away eventually. Fresh AC replaced weekly will help reduce the color.

as for the yellow water, dont worry about it... its just dirt in the water column from the wood...
