I want to do a new African community tank but only want to put in low to medium aggressive fish. any suggestions? Kribs? Acei Cichlid? I wanted to know from people from experience.

What size tank are you thinking? Acei are pretty laid back as are yellow labidochromis. Socolofi are another species that have been milder mannered in my experience.

Peacocks aren't too bad... as are the aceii... malawi eye-biters are a docile mid-top level african also...

I have a very nice looking 46 gallon bow front with a mini rainbow and some corey cats. I was gonna take the fish out and give them to my girlfriends grandma and use that tank. oh and where is a good place to get the fish from? i live in Ohio.

pseudotropus acei, yellow labs-labidochromis cearulus, and rusty cichlids are all excellent fish to get started with.
"live fish direct" , "that pet place" are 2 of several great online places to order from. there is 3rd one in texas but i forgot name.
you will need plenty of rocks,or my preference plastic caves as these fish really need/enjoy structure--lots of it.
if all this sounds like a lot ,then please read up on the special needs of these particular fish before you purchase. good luck.

I would avoid the malawi eye-biters as they would get too big for a 46g bowfront. You may be able to keep peacocks with the yellow labs and acei since they are more mild mannered but be forewarned it could result in some peacock death.
The place in Texas that rangur1 is thinking of is likely "Dave's Rare Fish". I've been there and his stock is phenomenal. PM me if you would like any information about that store.

would some kribs be ok with some peacocks and acei? Iv kept red zebras with electric yellows before but that was years ago. I know the reds get pretty mean but can that be taken care of with caves and other hiding spots?

I wouldn't add kribs to the mix, they come from a different ecosystem and don't really fit with mbuna. If you do enough rock work the red zebra are worth a shot. Generally 55+ gallons would be better but since you already have the tank that's not an option. As long as you have a backup plan if the stocking doesn't work out I would try it. Lots and lots of rock work and caves though.
