Hi,
I have purchased new aquarium which contains water volume of (30 x 15 x 15 inches),please let me know the species of fishes and the number of each species to be put in the aquarium.Initally on somebodies advice i have put 8 black small mollys to beginwith.Also let me know the number of grains per fish of fishfood to be given.
At the time of installation of the aquarium the chemicals namely Anti ich,Anti chlorine and General aid was mixed in water.the water has turned green.Air pump and filter is working since 36 hours,but the water has still the greenish tintch,advice how the water will maintain the natural colour.also advice if the airpump and water filter is to be kept running continuousily

Please read the free ebook in the menu on the left.
You do not need to add meds to your water unless you have sick fish.
Read the section on cycling your tank as well please.[Only Registered Users Can See Links.]

A fishless cycle would have ben much easier.
You will need to pick up a master test kit.Preferably the liquid kit.

Another "ditto" for NG

Get the ich meds (the green) out of there unless your fish already have ich or something. Water changes

Why did you add the anti-ich medication to the tank? That is what is causing the green look and you'll need to do a water change to help remove it. As Northernguy said, read the ebook then read the cycling stickies.
