Gourami tank - any other fish?

Are there any fish I could add to my gourami tank? I have six gourami's, each between 1.5-2.5 inches. 29 gallon aquarium. Will advance to 55 gallon as fish grow and expand to larger aquariums as needed.

What type of Gouramis do you have? Different species grow to different sizes and some may not be compatible with the others.

You have 6 gouramis in a 29g? I must admit, I am amazed they havent torn each other to shreds. Whast your secret/

I would consider breaking up the 6 gouramis before i'd consider adding other fish

What type of gouramis do you have?

I've had 6 gouramis in a 29G tank in the past. If you have all standard sized gouramis I wouldn't really try to add anything else to the tank. Most gouramis are going to get 3-4 inches or larger as adults. If you have dwarf gouramis some schooling tetras will be ok.

Either way, make sure you have a LOT of cover so the fish don't go nuts chasing eachother.
