Last time i was at my lfs i seen a very curious looking fish. The only tags on the tank could not have been it and the only person there had no idea what it was. I am hoping you guys can decipher my description of it so i can find out more about it.
A little larger than one inch
It was flatish and round like a discus but his eyes were more in the front of his face than on the sides
Colors were very striking. Shiny grey, deep black, and a VERY vibrant orange, almost neon color that looks like it should be on some type of goldfish. These colors were marbled together in a way that looks like a marbled hatchetfish. The orange was on his face too.
He was also in a bottom row tank where they usually keep goldfish but i am unsure because i have seen mollies in this tank before.
He was also very skittish which makes me think he should have been with others like him, but there was nothing else in the tank.
I might try to get a picture of him soon, but not sure if the staff would appreciate it. I'll do it on the sly lol
Edit: Now that i read it i may just be romanticising a Discus lol Maybe tatooed :(
