Goldfish swimming upside down

So my gf's goldfish (fat with big bulging eyes...ugly) is swimming around the tank like usual but it seems he's having trouble staying upright. She said he's been like this since yesterday. Any thoughts or suggestions?

maybe swimbladder issue, have no idea what to do for it tho

I have a gluttonous goldfish that is notorious for doing this. With him, I cut back on the food and give him some veggie matter and it clears up within a week.

In my case, it seems to be a simple constipation issue caused by his over eating and lack of veggies - kinda like humans...(blush)

I'd try cutting back on the food and toss in some sort of veggie and I'll bet he "corrects" himself quickly.

You can blanche some frozen peas,peel and squish them just as drop them in the tank.
That will help with constipation issues.
