Allright so I just picked it up payed 10 bucks for the tank lid and the filter. Pretty nice deal:). I am thinking of either doing planted or just fake plants it will be a betta tank anyone have some ideas:)

if you go with fak plants, make sure they're silk so they don't damage the betta's fins. personally, i think silk plants look more realistic too.

Id go with real plants, some needle leaf java with some petite anubias and maybe a bronze crypt or red root floater for color.

Update

I used silk plants have enough plants without having them in my last tank well last untill MTS sets in again. I am using some silk plants. Heres the betta I have http://www.aquabid.com/cgi-bin/aucti...tasd1250232481 He will be arriving on the 29th and the tanks in the last stages of cycling. I will do a water test tomoror see how things are doing. I saw a neat bamboo type tank a while ago I might put some bamboo shoots into the tank as decorations. If anyone has succesfully done this let me know. There will be pics most likely tomorow. Thanks everyone for the time you read it and the comments:):22:
