The tanks is good to go.. thumbs2: I put 6 White Clouds (three on Sat and three more Sun) I wanted to start out with some cheap ones to see who things are going in the tank. I wasn't sure about the W/C, but they are a fun fish to watch, they seem to like the current from the HOB. Thanks

That sounds like fun, they are cool fish!
You should be doing weekly water changes after your tank is fully cycled.
Is your tank cycled yet? Have you read the free ebook yet?

White clouds are great little fish, they were some of the first fish I kept. Do you have the regular variety or the golden ones?

Not sure, I'm thinking they are straight up regulars, bought them at Pet Smart, for a buck a piece, just to see how the water is, and they are doing great, also bought a Pepper Cory.

Probably the regular type if they were a buck each, the golden tend to run around $4 or so. With the cories, they really should be in groups of at least 6. They're a schooling fish. What size tank do you have?

Yes, Corydoras are also schooling fish too.
Fancy guppies won't compete well with white clouds, they're too slow to keep up at feeding time. Endler's livebearers would be a better match than fancy guppies, and eventually an angelfish or two for fry control.

Wow, with a 55g I would have a school of 12+ cories. They'd really show some cool behavior then. A trio of gouramis would be nice, or even a small school of pearl gouramis. The pearls are quite beautiful and peaceful. The 3 spot are a bit more aggressive and a trio of 1m/2f is preferable with them.

I have noticed that these little fish are rather fast, they already know when I come over to the left top, that they are going to get food. And I have only had them since Sat. morning..Endlers, I have seen pictures, but I don't think I have ever seen the fish. I will keep this in mind.. Thanks

I had some small gouramis when I was a kid, back in the 60's, thats when I had some serious tanks set up..but I am just now getting back into it, I thank you for your replys, it is helping by taking the guess work out.
