Recently me and my husband transitioned all of our fish from an overcrowded 5 gallon tank to a 30 gallon planted tank. Since then my paradise gourami just spends most of it's time on the bottom of the tank, just sitting in a small divet in the dirt behind some plants. In the 5 gallon tank it was alwasy zipping around from side to side in the tank, chasing our ghost shrimp and our danios. There are only 8 other fish in the tank other than the gourami, most aren't more than an inch long and the only ones bigger than it are a pleco and a bamboo shrimp. The tank has plenty of rocks and caves, some floating plants and several other plants through the aquarium. I've checked the ph, amonia, nitrates and nitrites and everything is perfect. The gourami still eats, it just seems depressed and I'm not sure if how to fix it.
