Will the moss attach to the net when "sewed" like this?

Eventually yes. If your light is in the middle of the tank however the moss with reach for the light so you might have to re-attach it from time to time, particularly when the wall is starting.

there is one natural light bulb in the middle (6500K), but directly above the moss is a fluroscent tube of 60W

Well a problem occurred :18:

The moss wall is growing, but white......
I used to have brown moss, dark and light green, but never ever white. It's not new moss either so any suggestion or tip on this will help. What can be causing the moss to turn white?

Lighting One 20W 6500K directly above the moss and one T8 just a little in the front. Other plants are blooming by the way.

The white might not be moss.

I had a similar problem when I tried to do a moss wall. Becuase the water didn't move very well behind the wall food flakes would get stuck in the moss and rot resulting in some algae/mold.

The easy way to tell is to pull one of the pieces off the wall and wash it in some clean water. If the white stuff comes off, then it's not really moss.

If the white stuff is really moss though I have no idea why it would be white. Maybe not enough nutrients in the water? I've always found that mosses tend to grow better when it's in contact with a lot of other moss. I'm not really sure why though. Maybe you should thing about reseeding the wall with the moss in one spot growing out?
