Cycling Question

I was wondering if I could kick start the cycling of my newest tank by putting the filter cartridge for the new tank's filter into the filter of my turtle tank. Thanks!

I dont see why not. Any disease a turtle might have should not effect a fish. There should plenty of waste in a turtle tank to seed the media.

Ok if I do that will I have to do much else?

You need to seed it for 3-4 weeks.
