Uh oh. Protein skimmer problem!

So my CPR bak pak 2R has been running a couple weeks now, works great, havent had any problems, doesnt even emit any bubbles. Well I found some water dechlorinater that has added bio extract for slime coat, etc..

When I added this, the skimmer immediately started shooting out a TON of micro bubbles and has been doing so the past hour. Will this go away over time!? Do I need to do a complete water change!? AHHHHH!

Give it some time, it should go away within 2 weeks.

Or you could do a big water change.

Things such as de-chlorinators and various other chemicals can cause skimmers to go hectic
